This policy explains how Bitmesin handles information. We do not run our own servers for your records.
1. Information we do not collect. We do not collect, sell, or share personal information. The app has no ads, analytics, crash reporting, or cross-app tracking.
2. Information stored on your device. Items you create (title, type, expiry date, notes, and who they belong to) and reminder settings stay on your device. Photos, scans, or PDFs you attach are stored with the item. If iCloud is on, that content syncs only through your Apple ID via Apple CloudKit. The developer cannot see it. Whether Bitmesin Pro is unlocked is kept by Apple’s purchase record and on your device.
3. Permissions. The camera is used only when you scan a document or receipt, Photos only when you attach an image, and notifications only for reminders you turn on. Reminders are scheduled on your device at 9:00 AM. You can turn these off in iPhone Settings.
4. Purchases. The app is free to download. Bitmesin Pro is an auto-renewable monthly or yearly subscription through the App Store. Apple processes the payment. We never see your full card number. Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Family Sharing works through your Apple account.
5. Children. Bitmesin is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes. We may update this policy. The date above will change. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new text.

Bitmesin Terms of Use

These terms cover the Bitmesin app and the Bitmesin Pro subscription. Downloading the app or subscribing means you accept them. Apple’s standard end user license agreement also applies.
1. The service. Bitmesin lets you save expiry dates for licenses, insurance, warranties, passports, leases, subscriptions, and similar items, attach a document, and receive reminders. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. A reminder may not arrive if notifications are off or the device is off.
2. Free plan. The free plan includes 5 items. After that limit, new items require Bitmesin Pro.
3. Bitmesin Pro. There are two auto-renewable subscriptions. The price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase is charged to your Apple ID in your local currency.
- Monthly: 1 month. No trial. Renews every month.
- Yearly: 1 year. New subscribers may receive a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you are charged and the plan renews every year.
Pro unlocks unlimited items, document scanning, household tags, and reminders. If Apple Family Sharing is on, eligible devices in the same family can use Pro.
4. Renewal and cancellation. A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Pro stays active until the period ends. The developer cannot refund a charge after Apple has processed it. Refund requests follow Apple’s refund rules.

6. Liability. Bitmesin does not guarantee that you will never miss a date. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect loss from a missed insurance, legal, or official deadline.
7. Changes. These terms may be updated. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms.
